The Amazing Army Kid's Nutrition Show.
PREP TO GRADE 2 (4 to 7 year olds)
(Fruit + Veggies) - Junk food = Great health for kids.
The Amazing Army Kid's Nutrition Show is an interactive and vibrant children's health workshop, centred on a story designed and presented by Louise Elliott (also known to the children as Missy Lulu).
Missy Lulu™ is a Body Scientist who uncovers an amazing discovery whilst investigating inside a human body: a battle of good against evil where Captain Immune™ and his Amazing Army™ (the Immune System) combat the Bad Bugs™ (germs and sickness). Of course a sinister spy is sent out from the Bad Bugs™ camp; her name is Sneaky Sweetie™. She tempts us with sweets and treats (junk foods), which make the Amazing Army™ weak and tired (so invading Bad Bugs™ can make our bodies sick)! However, hero, Major Energy™ delivers the winning weapon for the Amazing Army™: the superpower of colourful fruit and vegetables.”
Children dress up as the characters, sing their anthems and feast on fruit and veggies. Importantly, they take home a 5-Day Goal Chart to develop healthy eating habits, and once complete, receive a Major Energy Award
